This is the basic setup for most moms and dads on their first baby or using Marissa as their Doula for the first time

 

- initial interview up to 1 hour

- 2 home visits prenatally, 2 hours each

- continuous care during labor, delivery, and following the birth

- 1 home visit postpartum, 1-2 hours

- unlimited phone and email support

Price: $950 for families in Metrowest Boston

$1000 - $1200 for families outside the Metrowest region

 

Returning Mom's Doula Service Package

For moms and dads who have worked with Marissa as their Doula before

 

- 1 home visit prenatally, 2 hours

- continuous care during labor, delivery, and following the birth

- 1 home visit postpartum, 1 hour

- unlimited phone and email support

 

Price: $800 for families in Metrowest Boston

Price negotiable for families outside the Metrowest region

 

Prenatal Doula Care Service Package

For moms and dads who know that a cesarean section is a definite but want to prepare for it with a Doula

 

- 1 initial interview up to 1 hour

- 2 home visits prenatally, 2 hours each

- care in hospital before, during, and after the section up to 4 hours

- 1 home visit postpartum, 1-2 hours

- unlimited phone and email support

 

$800 for families in Metrowest Boston

Price negotiable for families outside the Metrowest region

Doula Services

A Doula provides the support needed in pregnancy, labor, childbirth and beyond to allow a mother to feel safe, loved, informed, and able to have a beautiful childbirth experience.

 

As your Doula, I will provide you with prenatal care and education with regards to pregnancy, labor and birth, possible interventions / augmentations and the possible side effects from those interventions. We will discuss your fears and concerns surrounding the birth of your baby. I will also offer you natural remedies for the discomforts of pregnancy, labor contractions, induction, and delivery.

 

When your labor begins I will be there for you and your partner with continuous, uninterrupted care. I will help both of you participate more fully in your experience by offering physical, emotional, and informational support so you feel less fearful of your experience.
